Mo' Betta Bretta
A long time ago (well, 2004) in a Pizza Port not so far away (Solana Beach, CA), Tomme Arthur and New Belgium’s Peter Bouckaert brewed an all Brettanomyces beer they called Mo’ Betta Bretta.In April of this year Peter flew from Colorado and the two joined forces once again — this time at The Lost Abbey — to do a refresh of that beer. Below is a video of what happened that day. The beer was released at the brewery on June 9th and should be hitting shelves near you the week of the June 18th.

For all you San Diegans one of the finest restaurants and beer bars in North County is hosting a tap takeover/keep the glass night tomorrow (3/29/12). Our one and only DOBO, (Director of Brewery Operations) Tomme Arthur, along with Tasting Room Manager/Hospitality Manager, Kevin Hopkins, will be attending the event. Urge's top notch chefs will be preparing some tasty treats, including a couple specialty dishes involving our beer.Details are as follows:

Video: Harvesting Hops in Yakima Valley, Washington
A couple weeks ago we threw some photos on the website pertaining to harvesting fresh hops in Yakima Valley, Washington. Then last week, as if you weren't already hopped out, we brought to you The Making of High Tide IPA. Now, because we believe you can never have too many hops, we bring to you a short educational video narrated by our very own DOBO (Director of Brewery Operations), Tomme Arthur giving a little more depth to the photos and explaining the process.
