Happy New Year and Welcome 2026
With Gratitude and Joy
As we begin 2026 I am pleased to announce that we have completed our web redesign. So if you’re reading this, THANK YOU for being a friend of Us, The Lost Abbey and of each other. For it’s the community of enthusiasts who fuel our engine and provide the spark we need. You are AMAZING. You know who else is AMAZING. Take a bow Chris Gielow. Many of you are probably scratching your head right about now in a WTF (Who the Eff is Chris Gielow? Have I even met Chris Gielow?)
He’s the guy who’s been working behind the scenes to deliver this new Lost Abbey 4.0 Website. And of the many things that I will be most thankful for in 2026 (tons more to come) it’s the work he’s done to elevate our message and specifically our ability to get back to telling stories through our imagery, our history and our legacy. A round of applause for the work he’s done. I for one cannot wait to use the platform and send out more exciting news and opportunities to connect with us.
2026 will be a profound year on many levels. It is my 30th Anniversary of becoming a craft brewer. It is the 20th Anniversary for The Lost Abbey (insane) and Colin Montgomery our Head Brewer will be celebrating his 10th Anniversary as a brewer. All told this means there will be 3 very unique beers being released by us this year in addition to all of the other wonderful beers you know and love. Stay tuned for these exciting announcements and much more.
Brevity isn’t normally something I employ when it comes to BIG announcements, but given the new channel and opportunities I will be presented to write and publish things here, I have decided that post #1 should be simple. While it is raining out as I type this, we know it’s Dry January. So hopefully each of you will meet your moderation needs. Should you miss the great conversations and good times on tap, you know where to find us. And a special thank you to those who will turn out to pick up the slack. You can be my wing man anytime…Also try the Holy Water. We are very proud of how awesome they taste.
Cheers to 2026 and what’s ahead. And Again, thank you to each and everyone who continues to join us on this journey.
Best
Tomme
