Our Tasting Room
Our tasting Room and Bar area is where you will find some of the most passionate and enthusiastic of our followers. We constructed a 42 foot bar (some may say altar suitable for ale worshiping) where the faithful come to Friday through Sunday (and selected special dates) to hear the message of our brewers on high.
On our 20 plus taps you’ll find our regular releases available for taster flights, pints and growler fills. Many of our bottles, including limited special releases and vintage bottles, are also available for purchase in the tasting room.

Guided Brewery Tours
On Saturdays and Sundays we offer informal guided tours of our world-famous brewhouse and barrel room. Generally there’s one 20 minute tour each hour. If you visit and would like a tour, please ask the Tasting Room manager or a bartender when the next tour is.
Tastings, Bottles & Growler Fills
Tastings
Belly up to our 42 foot bar or one of our barrel tables and enjoy 20 taps of fresh Port Brewing and The Lost Abbey beers. The tasting room offers individual tastings as well as (semi) structured flights of our beers. Tasters are $1 each per 4 ounce glass; Tasters are also available in pint-sized portions for $4 to $5 per glass based on the beer (some special releases may be more).
Bottles
Most of our regular bottles (and occasionally special releases) are available for purchase in the tasting room. Prices range from $4.99 to $12. There is a 10% discount for full case (12 bottle) purchases.

Port Brewing 1/2 Gallon Growler
Our Port Brewing products are available 22 ounce crowned bottles. Our beers carrying the Lost Abbey label are available in 750ml cork-stoppered bottles.
For a complete list of our regular beer releases currently available in the tasting room, please see our year round bottle list.
Growler Fills
We’re pleased to also offer ½ gallon (1.9 liter) growler fills of all regular release beers on tap. A new, re-usable growler costs $4 and a growler fill ranges from $13 – $18 based on the beer.
Please note: By law, we cannot fill a growler that doesn’t bear the Port Brewing name. As such growlers imprinted with another brewery’s name, blank growlers, or those that have had labels placed over the original printed name cannot be filled. (Sorry, we don’t make the laws, we just have to live by them.)
Tour Groups & Private Events
Port Brewing is pleased to welcome tour groups ranging from two people to 100 to our tasting room during our normal Friday – Sunday public tasting room hours. Additionally, we’re happy to host private events such as birthdays, bachelor/(ette) parties and other special occasions.
Tour Groups
For tour groups we recommend two local firms, Brew Hop San Diego and Brewery Tours of San Diego, both of whom are excellent services and will work with us (as well as other local breweries) prior to your tour to ensure the best brewery experience possible.
If you are coordinating your own tour, or working with another tour company, we request that you contact us at least one week in advance so that we can make proper preparations to accommodate your group. You can contact our tasting room & special events manager by visiting this page.
Private Events
If you’d like to hold a party or private event at our brewery (we have both a well-furnished tasting room and a private barrel room), please contact our tasting room and special events manager to learn more about pricing, accommodations and availability. Click here.
