Liner Notes
Track 5 is a blend of two of our best fruited sour beers. An equal blend of Red Poppy and Framboise de Amorosa. Once the beers were blended we added additional fruit and let them rest in another set of French Oak barrels. The aroma is an explosion of red wine and oak notes. A jammy fruit presence dominates the mid-palate of the beer before a bracing tannin laced dryness pervades the finish.
All told an exceptionally complex marriage between fruit, oak and red wine expressions.
The Album Art and Text
Stadium Rock Center Stage-No one between you and the Front Row glory of sweat catching hands reaching out. The lights drop as the green fog mystifies the stadium. The best ax man ever to pick six moves forward against a backdrop of stacks aching to kiss the moon. A diamond white spotlight blazes from behind scorching his silhouetted strobe-like movements.
Between the shadows, the drummer raps his sticks once, twice and a third time. A breathless anticipation of their favorite song about to be played silences the air.
Boom echoes the first drum. A crashing cymbal is chased by another drum thumping louder than before. A momentary pause in time as a crowd uncorked’s cheers induce one final strike of a high hat. Suddenly an authoritative drum kick starts the searing guitar solo you’ve been waiting to hear. That’s your cue to bellow at the top of your lungs.
This is after all rock and roll and you’ve come to shout at your hero even if he’s dressed as the devil…
